Hi y’all! I’m Sree, I’m a junior majoring in Computational Biology and Data Science on the pre-med track! I know that’s a bit of a mouthful but I’m really interested in AI in medicine & biology and hope to practice as a physician but also stay involved in clinical research. I’m really involved in research, currently working in two labs; the Lee Lab, where I’m studying osteoarthritis in mice models, and the Dye Lab, where I use machine learning and natural language processing to parse through self-descriptions of race & ethnicity from a global COVID survey across several countries & languages.
On campus I’m also Vice President of Eye to Eye (a mentorship program using art to educate students on neurodiversity), Secretary of Alpha Phi Omega (the community service fraternity), and I’m also a First Year Fellow in Sue B. Hello! My name is Nick, I am a junior studying microbiology with a minor in Spanish (I’ve been speaking since 5 years old!). I currently work in the Nedergaard lab studying neurology, and this school year I have been working on a project comparing the effects of different mouse brain collection and fixation techniques on imaging outcomes. On campus I am also involved with the Outing Club and Bee Campus Committee :)
