Outing Club is also a great opportunity to make new friends as we are one of the largest clubs on campus. We offer a chance to go on day hikes almost every weekend, alongside more infrequent tent and cabin camping trips, backpacking over fall break, and even downhill and x-country skiing!

Every weekend we venture out to hike in places like Letchworth, Chimney Bluffs, Watkins Glen, Stony Brook, Grimes Glen, Durand Eastmen, Taughannock Falls... and many more! We typically travel on Saturday Morning and get back to campus before the day is gone. Day hikes are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so get on our email list today!

Overnight trips will have more information and several opportunities to sign up weeks before the trip. We select campers based on a lottery system, but you need to be on the email list (means you have joined our CCC) to receive sign up forms. Active members receive priority. We typically have tent camping in late September/early October. Backpacking is over fall break. Fall cabin camping is usually the weekend before Thanksgiving break. Spring cabin camping is in early April.
