About Us

The purpose of establishing Men's Club Soccer at the University of Rochester is to allow students the opportunity to play at a competitive level, while still having time to pursue other activities on campus. One of the main objectives of this club is to challenge members to excel on and off the field. For instance, by playing a season with Men's Club Soccer, one can guarantee that the overall discipline of the individual will improve. It is required that all members attend practice, unless they have a valid excuse, or they will not be included in the game rosters. Lastly, Men's Club Soccer is a student-run organization so the members have the benefit of consulting one of the captains about various academic or athletic concerns. The executive board hopes that this will allow members the chance to make friends on the team and have a fun time whilst playing. Only those who identify as a man are eligible to play in our fall league with NIRSA (due to NIRSA rules), however anyone can come practice with us.

The Men's Club Soccer for the University of Rochester does not discriminate against any individual or organization of individuals on the basis of age, color, disability, domestic violence status, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, military/veteran status, national origin, race religion/creed, sex, sexual orientation or any other status protected by law.

Anyone who wants to play soccer is welcome to practice with us!
