The UHC is an organization by and for students interested in the study of history. We host events related to historical and historiographical topics and collaborate with the History Department to promote lectures, workshops, and panel discussions. History major not required.
Members are able to gain a new network of people who love history and intend to work in the history field. Along with our historical-themed events, members can also attend events with professors to foster connections! The Undergraduate History Council also plans an off-campus trip to a local historical site.
From weekly meetings to cosponsorships, the Undergraduate History Council likes to get history lovers together to have fun!
Learn about the upcoming classes from the History Department and on-campus academic resources. Get to know professors in the department in small, intimate settings.
Connect with other history lovers and History Majors. We also work with the URochester History Department to help students interested in pursuing history.
