About Us
UR Comics was formed in the fall of 2019 with a mission: to bring together comic enthusiasts from across the University of Rochester campuses; and provide readers, writers, and artists a place to talk about comics, collaborate on projects, and create amazing stories.
We meet weekly to discuss and share about comics. These meetings are open-ended and flexible to whatever our members are interested in: some may focus on discussing comics we've read, are interested in reading, or want to share with our fellow members; others may follow a more workshop-style setup, where people can hang out and write, draw, and collaborate on projects, while officers are around to answer any questions.
We offer assistance with publishing as well!
