Mission
We are the University of Rochester's Irish Dance club! UR Celtic was formed in 2007 by two champion Irish Dancers in an effort to spread Irish culture at the University of Rochester. We teach and perform both traditional and modern Irish dance to all levels of dancers.

In the fall, we compete at the Villanova Intercollegiate Irish Dance Festival, and in the spring we have our annual showcase. We also perform at various campus events, like Celebrate Diversity, the InspireDANCE Festival, for St. Patrick's Day, at charities and fundraisers, and with other dance groups. Recently, we have worked with BPG, SALSEROS, and Ma'Frisah. In the spring, we have our annual Spring Showcase.
