11/09/2023 We are delighted to announce that Quan Le (Simon School) reached the final of Apex Wednesday Night tournament. Since Quan made it to the final after coming back from the loser's bracket, he needed to win 2 sets vs Peter Wu (RIT) to win the event. The first set was a confident 3-1 win, but unfortunately the second set ended up with a loss in the decider 1-2.

10/23/2023 Congratulations to Robert Czupryniak for his fantastic 2nd place finish in Syracuse JOSS stop. The tournament took place last weekend (10/21-10/23) in Brick House Billiards.
On his way to the final Robert had two fantastic victories over Bucky Souvanthong (Fargo rating 716) with scorelines of 9-4 and 7-3, before losing in the deciding game of the final to Seth DelVillano.

Date: Wednesday, November 8, 7pm
Tournament details:
> 8-ball, double elimination, races to 1. The final rounds may be played in a longer format, depending on the duration of the event.

10/17/2023 Congratulations to the Quantum Optics Team for winning "The Pool Party" team match! After an intense fight they took down the Astrophysics Team by just one game, with a final score of 8-7.

04/18/23 Robert Czupryniak (GBA President) scored a great result in 2023 Super Billiards Expo, Oaks PA, by winning the Warm-Up Event and reaching the Last 64 stage in the Amateur Open field of 931 players.
After the event, Robert played in Darren Appleton's fans challenge and scored a 2-1 win over the 2012 World 9-Ball Champion.
01/20/2023 - We are delighted to announce that the tutorial on cue ball control created by Robert Czupryniak (GBA President) for our members got over 10,000 views on YouTube.

12/11/2022 - Joel Elias went undefeated in the field of 11 players, taking the win in GBA December 8-ball Event by defeating Suraj Thapa Magar (photo below) in the final. Suraj battled hard to come back in the loser's bracket, winning 6 matches on his way to the second spot. Vasisht Guru Prasad had a great run to claim the third place.
We also celebrated John Steinmetz's successful PhD defense. We wish you best of luck in the future!

08/27/2022- Brennan Arnold claims the win in the 'Pool Party' event hosted by Physics Department PASSAGE group and GBA. Nafiz Hannan Nabil secured the second place and Joel Elias took the final podium spot.
