About Us
RIA was formed in the spring of 2007. It is intended to serve as a platform for general social mingling among students of Indian origin in the University of Rochester.
RIA aims to foster our cultural bindings and encourage oneness on this campus by creating an ensemble of all graduate students and post-doctoral candidates as a well knit community. For this purpose, RIA handles various affairs of a social nature such as Diwali, Holi, Independence Day celebrations and many more.
In addition, we do our best to ensure a smooth transition in the lives of all Indian newcomers who join us every year and become a part of our small community in this beautiful city of Rochester.
We invite all Indian students to become a part of this effort. Your suggestions will always be heard with utmost attention. Through our collective efforts that we can create a better niche for all of us.
