About Us

The Office of Orientation and First-Year Programs (OFYP) provides support to new students and their families in their onboarding to The College at the University of Rochester. OFYP collaborates with members of the current student body, faculty, staff, and alumni to build connections, discover areas of opportunity, and join in the pursuit of making each individual and the University community ever better.

Ever Better Beginnings

During your first year at Rochester, the opportunities to find your community and explore your interests may seem endless; maybe even overwhelming. Ever Better Beginnings can help you navigate the plethora of available events and activities through specific tags, so you can easily figure out which programs are of the most interest to you.
