Mission
The Women's Ultimate Frisbee Club of the University of Rochester will develop their ultimate frisbee skills as a team and will teach others about ultimate frisbee. This organization will function as an intercollegiate ultimate frisbee team representing the University of Rochester, therefore promoting school spirit both on campus and at other schools. Also since ultimate frisbee requires running, jumping, disc throwing skills, timing, and coordination, it promotes athleticism. Most importantly ultimate frisbee, at all levels of play, from intramural to world championships, never has referees, but instead requires all players to uphold the "Spirit of the Game" as written by the United States of America Ultimate (USAU) in the Rules of Ultimate. This requires all ultimate frisbee players to uphold the highest levels of good sportsmanship and respect for one another, both on and off the field. Therefore the Women's Ultimate Frisbee Club will also teach and spread school spirit, athleticism, and respect for others.
