Our award-winning 'Beats of Africa' party is back again and with a new vibe! Wait and see! Dr Griffs will be tuning the BEATS on the night & we can't wait to see your "hot summer" energies on the dance floor.
We would also love if you could contribute to the playlist for the party.

ROCHESTER BLACK PRIDE FESTIVAL

The Rochester Black Pride Festival is on Saturday 7th, 2019. There will be a looping bus from River campus  1:45pm - 7pm; and the best part is this event is free!

MA’FRISAH WORKSHOP/TRY-OUTS

The West/Southern African dance group on Campus, Ma’Frisah will be having a workshop on Wednesday 11th at 9:30PM and Saturday 14th at 2PM in the O’Brien Dance Studio

 


DARIEN LAKE TRIP

P.A.S.A is organizing its annual trip to Six Flags Darien Lake on the 21st of September 2019.

Bus will be leaving at 8:30am.

FIRST YEARS VS UPPERCLASSMEN - SOCCER MATCH

The traditional PASA first years vs upperclassmen soccer match will take place on 14th September 2019 @ Fauver Stadium; 4:30pm. Upperclassmen who will like to join the team please reach out to Samkeliso Ndlovu (sndlovu@u.rochester.edu)


CARIBASH

 As usual, SOCA will be hosting their annual party, Caribash, this September. This year’s edition, Soak Mi Down, will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 10PM-2AM in the Feldman Ballroom.

Admission is $3 for UR students and $5 for non-UR students. Non-UR students must register on the guest list linked in our Instagram bio @uofrsoca. A college ID is required for entry.
