Hello beautiful people!

I hope you guys enjoyed this gorgeous sunny day as much as I did.
I have some announcements and updates that I'm sure you'll be very excited about! Especially if you weren't able to attend our last GMM, you might want to read the whole email because we have some really cool volunteering opportunities coming up.

• We have our Gift of Life MEGA drive in co-sponsorship with AEPi this upcoming Monday, November 4th from 12 pm - 6 pm in Hirst Lounge! Everyone's encouraged to come volunteer, no previous experience necessary! We'll explain everything to you once you get there. The goal of our drive is to raise awareness on how rare it is to find matches for blood cancer patients who need stem cell transplants, and help people from our U of R community join the marrow registry. We're gonna be helping save lives! How awesome is that. 😎 You can sign up for volunteering shifts using this spreadsheet. We are currently in need of volunteers especially for the 2 pm - 4 pm time slot, so if you think you can make it at those times, please reach out to me via email as soon as possible as well! 
• There is another super exciting volunteering opportunity coming up: it's an event called Hockey Fights Cancer and it will be happening on Saturday, November 16th from 3 pm - 7 pm at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Arena. We're working in collaboration with CSC at Gilda's Club Rochester and this is some of the information that they gave us regarding our participation: 
• If you're interested in participating at this event, please fill out the documents that can be found in the form attached to this email. If you volunteered for the Trunk or Treat event you don't need to submit the forms again! You're already in their system :)
• If you have any questions regarding these two events, please don't hesitate to reach out!
• Reminder: Our General Member Meetings (GMM) from now on will be happening every Sunday from 7 pm - 8 pm, if not we'll notify you some time in advance. This Sunday's GMM will be in the Gowen Room!
• Last but not least, a message to our members that applied for an E-board position: please help us by filling out this form as soon as possible!
