AAMC Virtual Medical School Fair | October 27-28 - On Oct. 27, attendees can join live information sessions and Q&A panels. Computational Medicine Early Admittance at Sidney Kimmel Medical College: Info Session | October 5, 7-8pm, Virtual - Interested in computational biology, data or computer science? Ever consider an MD with a specialty? Then this program may just be for you. Hear from UR alumnus Dr. Isidore Rigoutsos (M '87), and Dr. Michael Stillman from Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) and current UR students who gained acceptance to the program, to learn about their early assurance program for ROCHESTER STUDENTS interested in Computational Medicine. Students selected for this program will benefit from a free mentored summer research experience at SKMC, waiver of the MCAT requirement, and preferred admissions to the Computational Medicine track at SKMC in Philadelphia. Northeast Carpentries Qualitative Research Workshop Series | October 7, 14, 21, Virtual - Want to get started with using qualitative data for your research? In October, URochester Libraries Data Services, with other members of the NorthEast Carpentries, is offering a series of workshops that teach basic concepts and skills, plus two tools for working with qualitative data: Taguette and QualCoder.
