The Black Appreciation Dinner is This Sunday!

This year’s theme is “A Toast to Black Joy”🥂, where we’ll celebrate and honor exceptional Black individuals for their incredible contributions to the campus community🍾. BAD will take place this Sunday, February 16th at 5:30 PM. Be sure to invite your friends and classmates to join in on the fun!

BAD is FREE, and registration opens tomorrow, but spots are limited, so make sure to sign up early

Happy Valentines! 💌 WLA invites you to ANONYMOUSLY discuss your valentines horrors or relationship heartbreaks. Our eX’s and Os GMM happening this Saturday February 15th in Dewey 2110D, it will be a space to come share about your experiences with your current or past partners and gain advise from your peers on how to handle your unique situation. Remember, we listen and we don’t judge because everyone comes from different backgrounds and handles their relationships differently so it’s important to be respectful of other people’s lives ‼️. Recruiting Second-Generation West Africans For Research Study

Hi! I am Ayomide Tikare, a psychology doctoral student at Fordham University. I am seeking participants for my study, Social Support-Seeking Amongst Second-Generation West African Americans. If you are a child of a West African immigrant interested in sharing your experience of seeking support from others, please complete this form. Any eligible study participants would be asked to complete a brief demographic survey and a 60-minute interview with me. Participants will also be compensated with a $10 gift card!
