This week, we will be discussing the current crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Come learn about Rwanda's involvement in the ongoing conflict, and how the nation is being affected. We hope to see you to delve into this very important topic.

The Douglass Leadership House and the Minority Business Alliance are hosting a black symposium this Saturday, February 22nd. We invite all students and community members to attend and learn about the different student businesses that surround us. This event will be filled with community initiatives, entrepreneurial ventures, inspirational conversations, and more. We are also excited to provide FREE professional headshots for anyone interested.

Get ready for Healing Through History: Black Medical Trivia with MAPS, PASA, and BSU! ✨We will be collaborating to host a Jeopardy game that will enhance your understanding of Black medical history and explore ways to address its challenges in the future, all while making it a fun event! Join us this Saturday for an hour of learning, excitement, and camaraderie as we celebrate the contributions of Black medical professionals throughout history. Bring your friends and prepare to test your knowledge while enjoying insightful discussions and sharing ideas for the future!🧩🩺❗️

Join the Rochester National Lawyers Guild in-person at DLH on Sunday, 2/23, @ 6:00-7:30 pm to learn about undocumented people’s rights, your risks at protests, and more! In light of a rapid uptick in ICE arrests, attendees will gain perspective on how to advocate for and protect undocumented immigrants, as well as how to engage in activism in a changing political landscape.
