Mission The goal of the University of Rochester Simulation Gaming Association is to provide University of Rochester students and members of the Rochester community with an open community for the discussion and furthering of interests in simulation gaming, tabletop gaming, and derivative activities— including, but not limited to, board gaming, tabletop roleplaying, and trading/collectable card games – conducting social events to expand and develop this community, and promoting simulation gaming to the community as a whole.Board Game meetings are Mondays from 7-11pm in Douglass 401.TCG (including Magic: the Gathering) meetings are Thursdays from 7-11pm in Wilson Commons 121 and 122.During our weekly Board Game meetings, we bring a bunch of board games from our office's collection, and you're welcome to stay and play as long as you'd like! If you'd like to see our collection, you can find a list in our Discord. In addition to our weekly meetings, we hold events called "Games Day", where we play games from 11am to 11pm, as well as "One-Shots Night", where fellow dungeon masters run D&D or other TTRPG campaigns that last for about 3-4 hours. Whether you're a seasoned Magic player, a new dungeon master, have a big board game collection, or just wanna sit down and pick up a board game every now and then, we hope you'll join us for our wide variety of programming! :DIf you have any questions, please email us at ursimgames@gmail.com!
