This week, we have, as usual, a board games meeting this Monday in Douglass 401 from 7-11 p.m, an RPG meeting this Tuesday in Wilson Commons 121 from 7-10 p.m., and a trading card games (TCG) meeting this Thursday in Wilson Commons 121 from 7-11 p.m. We also have a couple of special events coming up. This Saturday, we have a Games Day in Wilson Commons 121 and 122 from 3 p.m.-midnight. Drop by at any time to play board games, and you'll even have the extra time to play longer games that can't be played in full at Monday meetings! The Saturday after that, October 4th, we'll have October one-shots. One-shots are single-session RPG adventures, played in a variety of systems such as D&D. There will be two rounds: one starting at 3 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m. If you wish to play in and/or run a game, please fill out this form.
If you're a first-year student who wants to get more involved with URSGA, consider running for office manager, which a first-year-only Eboard position whose responsibilities include maintaining URSGA's games collection. The form opens now and will close on the 29th, with the election occurring on the 6th of October during a Monday meeting. Lastly, sign-ups for SIMCON Committee are still open. SIMCON is the annual tabletop gaming convention URSGA holds, and is entirely student-run. You don't need any experience with planning to join, and it's a great way to get involved with the club. You can help plan events and vendors, propagandize to the masses, and/or write the murder mystery. If you're interested, please fill out this form.
