Mission The purpose of the University of Rochester Tae Kwon Do Club is to teach the art of Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do to club members in alliance with North American Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan (NATKD CDK) Schools. This art will be taught with the goal of building an understanding of the unity of techniques, as well as the mind, body, and (indomitable fighting) spirit.Spring 2024 ScheduleClub Practice:- Wednesdays 8:30 - 10:30 p.m. in the Leibner-Cooper Room, GAC.- Saturdays 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Leibner-Cooper Room, GAC.Tournament Practice:- Fridays 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Spurrier Gym- Sundays 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Spurrier Gym
Membership BenefitsMembers of the Taekwondo Club will learn self-defense, have a place to release all of the pent-up frustration from classes, and make lifelong friends. Members who attend classes consistently will be eligible to promote at the end of each semester, and at the end of their third year of training, test for black belt.
