Mission
She's The First at the University of Rochester aims to sponsor girls education in low income countries, allowing them to become the first in their families to graduate from secondary school. We achieve this through both fundraising efforts, as well as events to raise awareness about the issue of poverty and education for women. This chapter is part of a larger national organization: She's The First. In addition, our chapter hopes to accomplish additional work with girls in the local Rochester community, such as regular tutoring events and after-school activities.
