Come hear from Michael Thanos, an Engineering manager at IPG Photonics. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Electrical Engineering and then went on to work at jobs that also encompassed mechanical engineering with motors and optics with lasers (especially optics at his current position). He'll talk about his experience as an engineer in industry, offer advice to current students, and answer any questions you might have!
