This event, made possible because of a Meliora Vision & Values Grant funded by the Burgett Intercultural Center, promotes openness within the U of R community by providing a space for students from multiple performing arts organizations (ROC Players, SALSEROS, etc.) to openly showcase their culture through food and create a valuable bonding experience. Members of different backgrounds are able to gather in the Douglass Community Kitchen and cook food from other cuisines together. The first half of the event would be dedicated to general mixing and strengthening relationships among the different organizations, while the second half would involve a formal slideshow presentation or interactive diversity-related activity.
