Guided by the fundamental principles of the American Red Cross and its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors the UR Red Cross Club, will learn, practice and exemplify humanitarian values through mission-related service projects. The service projects will focus on preparedness, blood, and fundraising. UR Red Cross seeks to be a place where anyone, regardless of their background, is encouraged to join this nationwide and international humanitarian service and can stand united to help a greater good.

Membership Benefits
Membership with UR Red Cross opens the gates to the volunteering community for students who are looking to make service a pillar in their lives. Registering as a volunteer through Volunteer Connection allows students to sign up for volunteering opportunities through the Red Cross wherever they are and at any time. Any service hours logged through Volunteer Connection is therefore on official record for the students usage - whether that be for a resume or otherwise.
