EBoard Elections
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day and is excited for the upcoming nice weather.
We would like to announce that our Spring 2024 E-Board Election process is beginning! We will be opening ALL positions this election season, so please be sure to check out all of our open opportunities.
OPEN POSITIONS:
President - Responsible for running meetings, maintaining organization within the club, registering the club in Volunteer Connection each year and maintaining close communication with the local Red Cross Unit contact and the WCSA advisor. Must have been on E-Board previously.
Vice President - Responsible for managing the CCC page, registering all of the events, doing Resource Request Forms and requesting parking passes for missions held on campus (blood drive, etc.). Should be at all meetings and take over if the President is unable to be present. Must have been an active member of the organization for at least one year.
Business Manager - Must maintain all finances and keep a detailed record of all transactions. They should also register event rooms in VEMs and maintain regular contact with the local Red Cross Unit contact and the WCSA advisor. Must attend Business Manager training in the fall semester.
Secretary - Maintain a current version of the constitution, take roll call, meeting minutes, send regular emails to the organization and keep track of organization members.
Publicity Coordinator - Responsible for maintaining the @uredcrossclub instagram page, creating and posting flyers around campus, and encouraging members to be active in the community. Maintain and update our CCC webstire in addition to social media work.
Volunteer Coordinator - Teach members how to log their hours in Volunteer Connection and approve hours, create and maintain volunteer sheets and help run Blood Drives and other volunteer events on campus. Maintain contact with the local WNY ARC chapter to run events.

To run for a position, you must submit to us a platform here by March 28th at 11:59 PM. You will be able to present your platform at our GMM on March 30th at 11:00 AM. Your platform should take no longer than 3 minutes, think 2 - 3 minutes, and should highlight why you would be a good fit for the position you are applying to. Please submit a pdf of your doc that includes a picture of yourself, your name, class year, and any other information you would like to share.
