Fall 2025 Dormancy Notice
Members,
I hope your weekends have all been relaxing and used to recuperate from the first round of midterms (and RIP to those who have their second coming up). Unfortunately, this email is not going to do much to make your week better if it’s already gone down the drain.
Due to a combination of factors, we’ve decided that this semester Pride Network will be undergoing a hibernation of sorts, meaning that we will be hosting very few events or meetings this semester. Between our E-Boards overwhelming course load and our club's low member engagement, this semester hasn’t started off on the best foot. Coupled with the fact that our E-Board is just two of us, who are very overworked and possibly sleep deprived, we believe it’s best to pause our activities for this semester to regroup.
That being said, if anyone is interested in helping the club get back up to its feet and has a little bit of free time, we’d love to have you join us on E-Board or offer any ideas you might have! Even if you can’t dedicate the time for E-Board, just showing up to weekly GMMs and engaging with surveys and emails sent out by us will be extremely helpful in gauging interest in the club to allow us to remain in operation.
Fear not, we are planning on making our return next semester with a host of new ideas and fun events - potentially including Pride Gala! In the meantime, we hope to see you all around campus and that you all have a great semester. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out to us!
