Mission
Partners in Reading is dedicated, by means of tutoring, to aiding school children in their learning process. Our goals include bettering the academic experience for school students; promoting higher education by means of tutoring, mentoring, and various activities; and encouraging students to pursue their goals through education. The organization hopes to improve the Rochester community by encouraging the youth to be enthusiastic and motivated about education, and have a mentor to look up to.

Membership Benefits
-Work with young elementary students (kindergarten through 8th graders)
-Hands on experience working with children in a school environment
-Read books aloud to students
-Participate in many activities with students (arts and crafts, creative play, board games, etc)
-Help students follow along in classroom activities
-Help tutor students individually in reading or in small groups
-Help around the classroom
-Have the choice of working in English-speaking or Spanish-speaking classroom
-Be a role model for young children!
-Have fun!! :)
