Gender Exclusivity:
Alpha Kappa Alpha seeks women who will promote, uphold, and extend its policies and programs. Members of Delta Kappa Epsilon primarily enjoy professional benefits through the alumni network, social benefits through the friendships formed with each other and various social programming, community benefits through interactions with the University community (oftentimes extending past graduation) and through various philanthropic or service based initiatives, and leadership opportunities within the organization. Pre-COVID all members had access to the benefits of the house, and post-COVID we are looking forward to restoring that benefit: for the time being only members that live in the house have this benefit. We are also expanding our academic and cultural exposure benefits.

Gamma Phi Beta is an organization that is rooted in fraternal values and is committed to the promotion of inclusion among our members. Any woman shall be eligible for membership, provided she is currently enrolled in a college or university where there is a collegiate chapter and she is not, nor has been, an initiated member of an existing National Panhellenic Conference fraternity/sorority. Gamma Phi Beta seeks individuals for membership who aspire to live our Core Values of Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty and want to achieve individual worth, intellectual growth, service to humanity and lifetime commitment to our sisterhood. In an effort to give meaning to the concept of an “all-women” sorority and to give guidance to those making decisions about eligibility for membership in Gamma Phi Beta, the word “woman” should be interpreted as anyone who identifies as a woman. Therefore, anyone who does not identify as woman is not eligible to participate in our organization.

Our sisters come from all over the world, and you will see Gamma Phi’s holding all kinds of
leadership positions in many organizations such as SA Government, UR Segway, the Womanist
Club, Vocal Point, Cancer Awareness Club, and Class Council. Our philanthropic partner is
Girls On the Run, a non-profit organization that builds middle school girls’ confidence
through ,emtoring and training them to run 5k’s. To support Girls On the Run, we host a “Color Bash” fundraising event in the Fall Semester and our “Moonball” volleyball
tournament in the Spring!

Since our sisters are involved in different organizations around campus, you can see us throughout the semester working in all kinds of activities with different student groups, in an out of Greek life. Whether it is a career networking night or a yoga session, you can count us in!

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 5th, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana. The fraternity, originally called Kappa Alpha Nu, was established by ten African-American men partly to provide an alternative to the racially exclusive student organizations on campus, and partly to strengthen the bonds of friendship among these and other African American students. Today, the fraternity has over 700 undergraduate and alumni chapters across the world, exceeding over 150,000 brothers in total. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. prides itself on its five main objectives:

1. To unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in a bond of a fraternity
2. To encourage honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor
3. To promote the spiritual, social, intellectual, and moral welfare of its members.
4. To assist in the aims and purposes of colleges and universities.
5. To inspire service in the public interest.

The Upper Echelon Xi Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on December 7th, 1991 by seven men at the University of Rochester in Interfaith Chapel. Since its chartering, brothers of Xi Epsilon have worked effortlessly to foster community, camaraderie, and fidelity at the University of Rochester and in the Greater Rochester community.

We, the brothers of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Inc., strongly believe that many individual and collective successes can be achieved through the efforts of a culturally diverse brotherhood of college and university men who, through close association with each other, maintain honesty, commitment, respect, and trust.

We hold all of our undergraduate members to a standard of academic excellence. Afterall, the purpose of attending a university is to graduate with a degree, and our brothers want to ensure that goal is met in a timely manner.

As such, LSU requires that all active members maintain a semester G.P.A. of at least a 2.5 to remain active.

Active undergraduates have the opportunity to host chapter-related functions on campus, participate in chapter and regional executive boards, engage with interests and new members on Fraternity matters, attend LSU events at a discounted price, attend LSU regional and national conventions, apply for LSU Foundation scholarships, and gain full member access to member network on this national website.

Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated was founded on November 21, 1981 on the campus of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey by five women who sought the need to create an organization regardless of ones race, religion, culture, and class. As a result, Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated became the first Multicultural sorority in the nation that values the importance of diversity. Our sorority embraces multicultural ideals and interests, which is used as a tool to bring forth awareness on the issues of diversity. Sisters are also diverse in term of religious beliefs, political standpoints, sexual orientation, nationality, and much more. Moreover, academic achievement, union of all women, and making a difference in communities and universities are the other goals that our sorority strives for. Our organization is also actively involved and dedicated into helping charitable organizations as well.
The Dauntless Dianaia Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated has been approved for recognition at the University of Rochester, starting in Spring 2018.

The Order of Omega is a Greek honor society which recognizes outstanding fraternity
and sorority leaders. Members are selected based on their high academic achievement,
involvement in the campus community, and work to improve Greek life both in their
own chapters and across campus. The Order of Omega annually elects 3% of the
fraternity and sorority community to its membership. There is an annual selection
process whereby potential members can apply to join the honor society.

The Order of Omega sponsors undergraduate Scholarship Awards in the amounts of $100 – $2,000 annually.
