About Us
The National Student Data Corps (NSDC) is a community-developed initiative that provides resources and opportunities for students to learn data science, in a community of support, including underserved institutions, students, and communities. The National Student Data Corps at the University of Rochester offers students the opportunity to explore the field of data science, access national resources, and connect with other chapters. The main purpose of NSDC is to foster an environment where students can ask questions, and find answers by working in a team using data science. The Data Science Club seeks to further student education outside of the classroom, foster a positive learning environment, and to promote the development of leadership skills. NSDC seeks to teach others about the subject of data science and is open to any student with a desire to learn at the University of Rochester.
