Assalamu Alaikum,

We hope you all had a restful fall break and ready for the second half of the semester. This Friday we will be having a Soccer Tournament organized by the Yaqeen Brothers to raise funds for Charity Week and all proceeds will support Islamic Relief and provide aid to Gaza. See below for more informaiton.
We also look forward to seeing you tomorrow at Jummah Prayer In Shaa Allah!

Charity Week Soccer Tournament
We are excited to announce that the Yaqeen Brothers will be hosting a soccer tournament this Friday, October 18th for Charity Week. All proceeds will go towards the Islamic Relief foundation, so grab a couple friends, and bring your game faces! We look forward to seeing you all this weekend inshAllah :)





 Canvas Painting
Come and join this Saturday, October 19th from 12pm to 3pm in the Chapel,we will be painting on canvases to be sold during the auction at our next major event. Supplies will be provided, and though prior experience is preferred, everyone is welcome to come and pick up a brush! Feel free to drop by or stay the entire time — we’d love to have you!





Henna and Chai for Charity Week
Come join us on this Tuesday, October 22nd from 2-6 pm in Hirst Lounge for a quick chai break. Sisters, you are also welcome to get your henna done. All funds raised will be going to Islamic Relief USA to be donated to people in need. 


 

 
Jummah Reminder
As always, Jummah will be held on Friday (tomorrow) starting at 1:20 pm at the Interfaith Chapel - Sanctuary. Please be on time. We are always looking for student volunteers so if you would like to lead the Khutbah, please reach out to us. We will be having snacks and hot drinks right after, feel free to enjoy this short break before carrying on with your day!
Khutbah Suggestions: The MSA deeply values your feedback. Jummah salah is a time to take a break from our academic lives and reconnect with ourselves spiritually. Our hope is that everyone finds Jummah meaningful. If there is anything that you would like to have discussed during Jummah, please share it here.
