The University of Rochester Model United Nations attends conferences in the U.S. and Canada, debating members of other colleges and universities. In our weekly meetings, we engage in historical, fictional, and present-day crisis settings to work on increasing awareness of international perspectives on global issues, develop public speaking skills, and promote the arts of negotiation and diplomacy.
Members of the University of Rochester Model United Nations Team enjoy the benefits of lively debate and discussion at our weekly meetings as well as having the opportunity to learn about both historical and current events through our crisis simulations. Model UN offers students an way to meet new people, expand their speaking and writing abilities and have fun!
