This workshop offers essential education on how to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses. Participants will receive training on how to properly use Narcan (naloxone), a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Additionally, the session will include a demonstration on how to use fentanyl test strips to detect the presence of fentanyl in substances, helping prevent accidental overdoses. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on overdose prevention, harm reduction strategies, and how to respond in an emergency situation. This is a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to increase their understanding of opioid-related risks and gain the confidence to act in critical moments.
