Lea Thome ’22 (Political Science and International Relations)
Program Manager, AidData

Lea Thome, ‘22, received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Chinese language and culture from the University of Rochester. During her time as a student, Lea served as the President of UPSIRC, founded the International Students’ Association, and  was involved in SA Government and Class Council. 

She received her Master in Global Affairs as a Schwarzman Scholar in 2023, and completed fellowships at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in DC and at the Institute for National Defense and Security Research in Taipei. Currently, she works as a Program Manager at AidData. Her writings have appeared in publications such as The Hill, the South China Morning Post, and the Diplomat.
