This is the second of a three-part series specifically for students looking to work in the United States. Learn about how to network in the United States and why it is important for propelling you toward career success. In this hour-long session you'll learn:

- Why building a network is important.
- What steps go into building your network.
- How career conversations are structured and how to secure a conversation.
- How to create networking notes to connect with employers and alumni.
- What resources are available at the University of Rochester to help you network.

This program is designed to be open to any and all University of Rochester students regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, or sex, and is consistent with all current governing federal and state nondiscrimination law. We recognize the intersectionality of individual identities and recommend that you join any program to explore your career interests, connect to networks, and discover helpful resources.
