Hiring: DandyHacks 2020 Organizing Team

DandyHacks, the university’s annual 36-hour hackathon is looking for new members for their Organizing Team, ranging from Communications, Logistics, Finance, Design, Marketing, to IT. The Design Team, which may be of interest to some of you, is responsible for designing posters, T-Shirt, and miscellaneous stuff such as Snapchat filters as well as brainstorming fun activities for the event. If you're interested, fill out the application form by 2/21. Please see the team descriptions for the details of each team. Developer Student Club GIM

Developer Student Club at the University of Rochester, a new club that has the agenda to help students bridge the gap between theory and practice in computer science in general and software engineering in particular, will be hosting GIM on Friday 2/21 at Douglass 403 from 3- 4pm. They will be having their north America DSC Community manager, Daniel Fiorillo, talk about the vision of the program and also answer questions related to DSC or Google. DSC wishes to impact and empower students through understanding, using, and reflecting on technology in the real world, thus it is open to all majors.
