Rochester Design is a community of students attending the University of Rochester interested in design-related fields. We provide resources, workshops, and critiques to improve skills and encourage innovation for both those new and experienced in design.
We teach real world skills and softwares currently used in the design industry. Our workshops provide design training in areas including Adobe Illustrator, sticker design, logo drafting and development, and UI/UX concepts.
As a community we create an environment where students can share their designs with each other, receive inspiration from other design enthusiasts, and enhance their skills during design critiques.
We connect local clubs and startups with student designers. We host design panels and networking events for students to connect with professional designers across campus and in the Rochester community.
Our members gain experience creating designs for organizations on and off campus, build skills that are attractive to recruiters, and learn how to convey their professional identities in the design industry.
