Mission
CIF is an interesting group of people whose interests and activities are as diverse as our members. While we go back to 1982, we’re just as dedicated to the university community as when we were providing some of the few computing resources on campus.

CIF provides several services to the University of Rochester and the community at large, including free 24-hour technical support, web hosting, Unix accounts, and a computer lab available to all University students with Windows, Mac, and Linux machines.
