The 1st annual Chess Club Championship! We welcome all players to join and hone their skills over the board whilst competing for a $125 prize pool (+ Chess books, clocks, chess.com memberships, etc.). Pizza will be provided.

Registration starts at 3:15 and ends at 3:50 sharp.

Details:
2 Sections: Open and Under 1400. Everyone can play in the Open Section; to play in the U1400 section, you must show that your Chess.com, Lichess, or OTB rating is below 1400.
Rounds: 6
Time Control: G/10+5
Byes: No byes (contact eboard if schedule conflicts)
Prizes:
Open - $30 + Trophy for 1st, $15 + Chess Clock for 2nd, $10 for 3rd, Scorebooks for 4th and 5th place.
U1400 - $15 + Chess clock for 1st, $5 + Chess Clock for 2nd, Scorebook for 3rd place.
*Chess.com memberships will also be given out to the top performers across both sections - the exact amount depends on the # of participants
Typical USCF rules: Touch-move rule will be enforced: all electronic devices must be turned off and put away. Any violation of the rules will be addressed and may result in forfeit.
