The Center for Education Abroad would like to invite you to the 2025 Ed Abroad Story Slam!

The theme of the night is: GLOBAL STORIES. Share your own story or attend as an audience member to hear global narratives from study abroad returnees, international students, and other members of the UR community.

During the Ed Abroad Story Slam, UR students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to tell their story in front of a live audience. The stories should be short - 5 to 8 minutes in length - and centered on the theme of Global Stories. They can be funny, moving, enlightening, thought-provoking, or surprising.

We look forward to sharing a night of storytelling that crosses borders, expands our global perspective, and celebrates cross-cultural understanding.
