Come listen to alumnus Olivia Canavan (AME '20) speak about her transition from life as a student to her career as an audio applications engineer.

Olivia Canavan received her B.S. from the University of Rochester’s Audio and Music Engineering program in 2020. During her undergraduate years, was a member of the student chapter of the Audio Engineering Society, a Team Leader in the Learning and Exploring at Play (LEAP) program, a teaching assistant, and assisted in building UofR’s Gavett Recording Studio. Olivia was a panelist at the 2018 AES Convention, discussing Workflows and Techniques for Ambisonic Recording and Production. She has been the recipient of the Patrick P. Lee Foundation Scholarship (2018), the Mary Lea Simpson Memorial Scholarship (2019), and the University of Rochester’s Transfer Student Award (2020). Olivia is currently an audio applications engineer for Cirrus Logic in Austin, TX.
