In order to exhibit effective leadership a leader must first understand themselves and how they handle obstacles and challenges. This workshop is designed to let students reflect upon their current capabilities to handle roadblocks and discuss coping strategies for successful navigation. It will include strategies and skills which can help foster a strengths-based outlook. Additionally, it will provide ways to move forward from what could have been perceived as a failure. This interactive workshop will include an introduction to mindfulness meditation skills allowing students to reframe their brains to see how things are without judgement. Gaining insights into one’s own ability to adapt and be resilient makes one an effective leader, especially in difficult times. They will be able to utilize the tools they gained to move forward on a successful path.
