About Us

The Liaison Project is a trainee-led organization within the School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD) that provides graduate students, medical trainees, and postdoctoral fellows with the opportunity to practice the skills of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and Medical Affairs professionals. Through structured clinical trial presentations, group discussions, and peer-to-peer scientific exchange, members will engage in real-world style dialogues that mirror the interactions between industry medical teams and healthcare professionals. The mission of this group is to uniquely position URMC trainees to better understand how cutting-edge science is translated into clinical practice, while preparing members for diverse careers in Medical Affairs
