The University of Rochester will provide a free shuttle to Marketplace Mall on Saturday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 1, for any student who wishes to participate in early voting. Students must be registered to vote in Monroe County to participate in early voting at this location.

Students must register to ride the shuttle on CCC. Shuttle capacity will be limited to fifteen passengers per trip, and all students must wear masks and practice physical distancing.

Beginning at 11 a.m. each day, the shuttle will pick up at Rush Rhees Library and drop students off at Marketplace Mall (N. Entrance) where all passengers must disembark before the shuttle starts its next cycle. Students will have approximately one hour after drop off before the shuttle will return to provide a ride back to campus.

Students can track the early voting shuttle in the DoubleMap site available in the UR Mobile app. The shuttle will be wheelchair accessible.

New York’s early voting dates are Oct. 24–Nov. 1, when voters registered in Monroe County may cast their ballot at any early voting location. On Election Day, Nov. 3, registered voters must vote in person at their assigned polling place which is Saunders Research Building at the URMC for those registered to vote on River Campus.
