Join local activist Lentory Johnson for a discussion on the change she would like to see in the 19th Ward and PLEX, and her plans to make it happen. Lentory cofounded the lobbyist group Light The Way to bring awareness to gun violence after the Boys and Girls Club shooting on Genesee Street in 2015. Her activism is focused on building intergenerational relationships, and creating Legacy Park Station on Plymouth Exchange Street to celebrate the history of African Americans in the neighborhood.
