As I am sure you are all aware, the semester is coming up fast which means it is time to start getting ready for the 2020 Fashion Show!! As many of you know from workshops before the break, this year's fashion show will be on FEBRUARY 15. That means we only have one month to prepare, and will be dedicating all upcoming workshops (particularly for the fashion directive of CAC) to preparation. Before the break, we received another sewing machine, so we have already begun getting ourselves ready for you guys to create and design!! To sign up to participate please use this link: https://forms.gle/wLQHuJQ4dQe84zhk7
We are so excited to see what you guys create this year and we hope to see an even bigger and better show than 2019!!! We will also be advertising the show and our club at the Activities Fair on Friday, January 17, so please come and say hi to us there!
Thank you all so much and see you at the workshop!

Design and Model
This year, the fashion show will be technology/futuristic themed (inspiration came from the 2016 MET Gala, Manus x Machina). Designers are not required to follow the theme as there are no specific guidelines, but the general set-up of the show will be based around it. At this point we have several designers and models, HOWEVER, we are always looking for more people who are interested in being both models or designers. Please fill in this link (https://forms.gle/wLQHuJQ4dQe84zhk7), email us back or attend our workshops on Fridays at 4 PM in Rettner 104 if you are interested or have any other questions.

Calling All Creators
This year we are also including an art gallery within the show that will be on display before the models strut the runway. So, if you are a CAC member, but are not interested in the fashion directive, then you can still showcase your creative talents! Time to make something that you would like to be displayed will be provided at our weekly workshops (Fridays at 4 PM in Rettner 104). It is suggested that the art piece topic be focused on the relationship between technology and art. The deadline to submit is February 7th at 6 PM. Looking forward to seeing your submissions!

Send Us Your Order
Finally, because the show is approaching so fast, we are hoping to order supplies for designers and decorations within the first week we get back. If you need us to order your supplies, make sure that you email us back or apetras2@u.rochester.edu with links to an Amazon product that you would like us to order. You can also inform us at our first workshop (Friday, January 24). Since we have a limited budget, this process will be first-come, first-serve. Any supplies that we are not able to purchase for you, you will be responsible for purchasing yourself.
