To provide free and accessible theatre to the University of Rochester and to generate interest in all aspects of theatre including playwrighting, directing, acting, advertising, and technical design.
The Opposite of People Theatre Company prides itself on being completely student-run. Our actors, designers, directors, and technical crew are all undergraduate students at the University, each of whom shares a passion for the theatre.
The Opposite of People has put on numerous productions in the space available at the Drama House main room. We have thus far managed to perform all shows free of charge, supported only by member contributions and generous student donations.
