Parent Organization: University of Rochester
We will be taking trips to galleries and museums around the city of Rochester, as well as nearby cities including Syracuse, Buffalo, and Ithaca. We also will plan on making one trip to New York City a year. The council aims to help organize and sponsor on-campus
art-related activities. Lastly to have a fun, informal gathering of Studio Art and Art History students as well as anyone who loves art!
The Art and Art History Undergraduate Council mission is to make students more aware of the Art and Art History Department on campus, continue the discussion of Art and Art History outside of the classroom, and connect students who are majoring/minoring/clustering
in Art. We network with related clubs and organizations and to reach out to the off-campus art community. We would like to foster creativity on campus and promote the importance and worth of art.
